Awesome carrier! The bad reviews are way off on this carrier. It’s a shame they are what you see first on Amazon, and not all of the good reviews….The shoulder straps are “bulky” from the padding, but they are very, very flexible and comfortable. And I have no issue fitting under jackets – maybe if it is a tight fitting jacket, then sure, but a normal jacket fits easily over them. I didn’t get this carrier to begin with because we had two hand me downs – a Kelty and a cool mesh K’tan – and I thought we would use the K’tan the most so we also purchased a cotton one too. Now the Kelty- that is bulky! This is ridiculously comfortable, lightweight, and the exact opposite of bulky. For the two K’tans, they both feel far more bulky than this, probably because there is so much fabric wrapped around you tightly. After seven months of not using our carriers because they all overheated our baby – even the cool mesh K’tan – and never being able to get either of us comfortable in any of the carriers, I finally decided to try this carrier. And boy do I wish I had gotten it sooner! This feels like nothing, our baby is literally all smiles in it and it is amazingly comfortable for me to wear too. Our baby is very active, that may be a factor in the K’tans never being comfortable-there was a lot of squirming and the fabric would pull and end up lopsided with the baby being supported by a ball of fabric under one leg within ten minutes of being in the K’tan. The mesh isn’t uncomfortable, it is not soft like the K’tan mesh, but it isn’t scratchy or hard either – not sure what the complaints are about. It is also very well made, the fabric is very high quality, almost a denim-like texture but it is a lighter weight, high quality cotton twill and I can’t see how it could split – not sure what those complaints are about either. I think they may have made some adjustments though since others have reviewed it. The belt adjustment for baby leg spacing is now Velcro – and very secure Velcro, the belt is clipped together to keep it in place around your hips- there is no “slide” as other reviewers have mentioned, so maybe the fabric and mesh have been changed too?Bottom line – this carrier is awesome, it’s lightweight, minimal in bulk, fits our baby perfectly, and doesn’t overheat our baby. Awesome carrier.*update! I found what the other reviews mention as “slides” – they are on the body of the carrier/front – and they are quite poorly designed, they definitely slide, a lot…..but they are not needed to keep baby comfortable, the Velcro at the belt that is adjustable is really to only thing needed. Not really sure what they were thinking with the outer slides…I think this is where the plastic rods another reviewer mentioned are too, but again I don’t have, or see, an issue with them – the are on the outside of the carrier, and in no way that I can see could affect the comfort. Just a little annoying. Although I can see a use for the slides – they open up the leg spacing without having to take the carrier off and readjust the Velcro. It’s annoying that they don’t stay put, but convenient if you want to temporarily get more air flow…my 2 cents

I’m on the shorter side and the H back doesn’t work for me on this carrier, however the X back is amazingly comfortable and works perfectly. Its easy to breastfeed while on the go. My baby likes to be held constantly so it’s easy to multitask while holding her.

We bought this with same day shipping for the Indy500. We had an infantino carrier that we usually used but it wasn’t super comfortable for us or the baby, so figured we would put the ergobaby to the ultimate test! We got the mesh one and it was very breathable, and considering we had a 25lb baby strapped to us for ~10-11 hours, it was quite comfortable. The back lumbar pad really made a difference for me. The baby was happy in it, and didn’t seem to get too hot. He fell asleep 3 times in it and slept comfortably. Definitely worth the high price point!

At first I was resistant to getting this carrier because it’s the most popular brand and I know there are a million other brands so I figured I should check out the others. After weeks of online reviews and comparisons I came back to this one. I used a wrap before this carrier but my baby was getting too heavy and my shoulders were killing me. I have no shoulder or back pain with this carrier. It fits myself and my husband well. The baby fits in it snugly and naps easily in it. The mesh is great to keep her from overheating, especially on hikes. I love that it can be used in different positions though for now my baby only likes to be worn on my front. The sun hood has been great for hiking naps to keep her protected and make it dark for her. At this price too, it’s amazing.

Baby was born at 8lbs 10oz so we were able to use it right away. It’s really easy to get on and use it. Very convenient for grocery runs, walks, chores around the house etc. my only complaint is that it’s not summer/heat friendly and unfortunately you’ll have to buy another one for hot days which sucks for new parents who aren’t aware of such things like myself.

This carrier has been a great addition for our youngest. With the heat the breathable material makes carrying him easier for us both. I love that it’s so adjustable and had many ways to carry your baby.

Look no further, ignore the other negative reviews and just order it, register for it and use it!! Though I will confess, I have only used it over the course of one afternoon… but it does not disappoint. My babe loves to move, be held and even though he is little (12 lbs), my biceps were getting a little too swole, not to mention there isn’t much you can do with one hand.I was using 5 year old hand me down basic Ergo Baby carrier, he was ok with it, but would inevitably end up fussy and it, like the Lille 360 (which was what I had originally been gifted from my registry, but wasn’t using because we both hated it) was too wide for his groin when we tried to face forwards. After my general disappointment from both carriers, I reached out to some mom friends and there was an overwhelming recommendation for the Ergo Baby Omni 360… so here are my thoughts.PROS:1. General design: from cushioned shoulder pads for me and cushioning for my babe’s inner thighs and had I had it sooner, neck support for a newborn. It is lightweight, breathable, comfortably flexible to wear and has good lumbar support (I am a physical therapist, so this is definitely something I wanted in a carrier)2. Storage pouch. I wear a lot of leggings, which don’t have pockets… now I have a place for phone/keys, dog treats, you name it! Even better, it can be removed If need be.3. My baby LOVES it! Unlike the Lille Baby (which he screamed in the ENTIRE TIME and actually gave him an abrasion on his ankle from the general poor fit and extreme inflexibility of the product) and the old Ergo Baby, he was content and putting him in even during a fussy time calmed him down and extended his day time wake time almost an hour!4. I can get it on myself, unlike the Lille 360, which was near impossible if you did not have another set of hands to help. Though, in all fairness, I do have flexible shoulders, which helps.CONS:1. Price (unless you are willing to sacrifice color). It’s cheaper than the Baby Bjorn carriers that can hold up to the same weight, but more expensive than the Lille 360 (though this was over $120 when it was bought for me…).2. I waited until my child was almost 4 months to exchange for this carrier and have now given myself neck and shoulder issues carrying him around like a fool.

I like this carrier compared to a sling or wrap. I have less back, shoulder, and neck pain. It is pretty easy to get the baby into and out of.

Truly the best baby carrier I own! I’ve have many different types all kinda similar. But this one does it all and does it well.
